While other profession are concerned with changing the environment to suit the weakened body, chiropractic is concerned with strengthening the body to suit the environment.

Our Services Explained

Vitalistic Chiropractic

Vitalistic chiropractors embrace the belief that the human body inherently possesses the capacity to grow, heal, and adapt. They recognize that disease arises when this innate process is obstructed or disrupted. With this foundational understanding, vitalistic chiropractors are dedicated to identifying and addressing any factors that impede this natural flow within the body. Through collaborative efforts with their patients, they strive to either integrate or remove these obstacles, fostering an environment conducive to the emergence of one's strongest, most authentic self.

Trauma-Informed Somatic Healing

This therapeutic approach recognizes the profound impact of trauma on both the body and the mind.  Whether the trauma be emotional, physical, or chemical. Trauma-Informed Somatic Healing integrates knowledge from trauma psychology with somatic (body-focused) practices to facilitate healing by addressing not only emotional and psychological symptoms but also the ways in which trauma is stored in the body.

Network Chiropractic

  1. Gentle Adjustments: Unlike traditional chiropractic methods that use forceful spinal manipulations, Network Chiropractic employs gentle touches along specific points on the spine, known as "spinal gateways." These touches are designed to facilitate the release of tension and encourage the nervous system to self-correct.
  2. Energy and Tension Release: The goal of NSA is to help the body release stored tension and energy that may have built up due to physical, emotional, or mental stress. By releasing this tension, the body can better align itself and improve communication between the brain and the rest of the body.
  3. Spinal Waves: Network Chiropractic focuses on creating "spinal waves" in the body, which are undulating movements along the spine. These waves help in releasing stored tension, improving spinal alignment, and increasing energy flow throughout the body.
  4. Self-Regulation and Healing: By enhancing the communication between the brain and body, NSA encourages self-regulation and healing from within. Patients often report improvements in their emotional, mental, and physical health as their nervous system becomes more balanced and resilient.
  5. Three Phases of Care:
    • Discover Care: Focuses on helping the body identify and release tension.
    • Transform Care: Helps the individual move through transformative change, freeing deeper patterns of stored tension.
    • Awaken Care: Encourages spiritual growth, increased self-awareness, and a deeper connection to one's internal energy and consciousness.

Bio-Geometric Integration

  1. Geometric Framework: BGI is based on the idea that the body is structured according to geometric patterns, and these patterns help distribute forces, tension, and energy throughout the body. Stress and trauma can distort these patterns, leading to imbalance and dysfunction.
  2. Tension Patterns: BGI practitioners analyze how tension patterns are stored in the body along these geometric lines. By identifying where the tension is held, they can determine how to best release it to restore balance.
  3. Connection Between Structure and Energy: BGI emphasizes the connection between the physical structure of the body (bones, muscles, fascia) and the flow of energy through it. When the geometric alignment of the body is disrupted, it can interfere with the natural flow of energy, leading to physical and emotional symptoms.
  4. Somatic and Subtle Energy Fields: BGI acknowledges not only the physical aspects of tension but also the subtle energy fields around the body. Practitioners work to restore the alignment of these fields along with the physical body.
  5. Gentle Adjustments and Awareness: Similar to Network Chiropractic, BGI uses gentle adjustments to help the body realign itself according to its natural geometric patterns. The practitioner may focus on specific points on the spine or body to release tension and restore balance.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy (CST), is a holistic healing practice that involves gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull, spine, and pelvis to enhance the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and promote the body's natural ability to heal itself. It is based on the concept that the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, has its own rhythm and can become imbalanced due to physical or emotional stressors.

Reiki

The goal of Reiki is to promote relaxation, reduce stress, alleviate pain, and facilitate healing on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. It is a gentle and non-invasive practice. Reiki is considered a complementary therapy and is often used in conjunction with conventional medical treatments to support the body's natural healing processes. It is a holistic approach to well-being that can help alleviate symptoms, reduce stress, and enhance overall health and vitality.

Breath Work

Engaging in breathwork requires focused attention on the breath, which increases mindfulness and awareness of bodily sensations. This heightened awareness fosters a deeper connection between the mind and body, allowing individuals to better perceive and understand their physical and emotional states.

Certain breathing techniques, such as deep diaphragmatic breathing or rhythmic breathing, can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for relaxation and calming responses. By consciously regulating the breath, individuals can induce a state of relaxation, reducing stress and promoting a sense of well-being.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

During your first visit, we will discuss your medical history and any current symptoms or concerns you may have. We will also perform any physical exams needed and may order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, if necessary. After taking a detailed history the doctor will segue right into the adjustment.

Processing stored energies can feel very different for different people. Reported sensations include a warm feeling in the chest, sudden shivering, crying, shaking, yelling, moving on the table, large, and/or loud exhales breathing. Feel free to express yourself in whatever way feels the most natural and honoring for you. There is no right way to heal, if you listen to your body it will tell you.

The sound experienced during joint manipulation is due to a small pocket of accumulated gas escaping from the space between two (or more) bones. Because the space between bones, amount of gas produced, and route of escape varies so much the amount of gas release (and so amount of sound produced) varies just as much. We may experience profound movement with very little (or no sound), just as we may experience little movement with a very loud "pop/crack". Every body, adjustment, and session are unique and different.

Unfortunately, Dr. providers must sign a contract that allows the insurance company to determine which services they will and will not provide and how much they can charge for their services. Ultimately, this leads to insurance companies dictating care provided. For this reason insurance companies are not focused on any preventative or wellness services, Gold Ratio Chiropractic aspires to provide its clients with the totality of care necessary for their deepest possible healing. Therefore, Golden Ratio Chiropractic is not in network with any insurance provider, and accepts full payment of services at the time of each appointment.
